However, make sure you submit to a directory category which is relevant to the genre of your website. e.g if you have a website on game cheats, make sure you submit it to the games category in the directory. The second way to get links is to join a reciprocal linking website like LinkMetro, in which users swap links with each other. This way is cheap and can slowly boost your page rank.

The final way is the content of your website. You need to offer your readers something new or different to other websites. You have to make sure that you explain yourself well and clearly and the website must look professional for Google to establish whether your website is worth a high ranking or not. Without showing quality, it is unlikely that you will get a high PR and a good listing in Google or other search engines
