So for all UK users of this site, you will have probably noticed that Dragon's Den is back on out TV's.  There's a new dragon too, adding a different perspective to the normal group (they've lost Richard Farleigh) - the new chap runs a private equity firm and definitely wants to hear that contestants know their numbers.

The good thing about this kind of programme is hearing

Setting up a website takes a lot of time and energy, which I seem to be lacking! I'm still holding down a full time job, as I can not afford to give it up at the moment. I have joined up with a friend to work on my site, but just finding the time to do it is hard.

Everyday tasks have to be put off until the weekend or evening, as I don't have time in the day, but all I really want to do is work on my new company. I have started using priority lists and have put together a time plan too, which is helping. I guess all entrepreneurs have to go through the tough stuff to get to get results.

At the end of the day, I want to do this and to make my company a success, so if I have to cut back on my sleep and work harder I will! 

I think getting support from those around you is really important to the success of anyone's business. Having an idea is great, knowing what to do and how to get success is another matter. Lots of plans and hard work go into it and so understanding from those around you is vital. Long hours and commitment are required, which means you can't always be with those you love.
