What's with the weather at the moment? I got caught in what felt like a tropical storm today in Victoria, only to go underground for 10 minutes to covent garden to be greeted by blue sky and hot sunshine....
All a bit freaky if you ask me. There's been severe weather warnings for this weekend in the UK too. It's taken us to get to this stage for big companies and the government to finally start thinking about the environment

It's awful. Many places I know have been flooded and/or evacuated. I heard part of the M4 was damaged by rain near Swindon - it just couldn't take the level of water on it. Maidenhead was hit last week which effected the M4 on Friday. Many small villages have been cut off. As a country we're going to have to think about solutions for flooding going forward, we simply can't let so many people be effected again. Some people have lost everything and I don't know what the insurance companies responses are yet.
